I’ve been for a long time stuck in pastels, crosses, tutus, flowers and all random combinations that can come from that…First pose is a prop from Olive Juice, and second is from !Bent ! I’ve been using mostly poses from Bent on my last posts… Bent doesn’t have a mainstore.. but there is an inworld group which you can join (250L) and get all the new poses! Poses are sent frequently so if you’re a pose lover this is quite of a deal.

Picking up poses – Tutorial (kinda)

Always wondered why people would have so many different poses for blog posts… and these days I know my answer. Was still on my early blogger days when I went to a SL fashion show and someone referred to a model who used some pose that made her outfit ”be eaten by the body”. And at that moment I realized that each outfit will need a different kind of pose so everything can look on place. Ever since then I would pay attention to my poses and make sure the body and outfit would be in balance. (Sure if your avatar is naked, in underwear or a body suit all poses will work with it. )

Pose not working with the outfit. Why?
-Hair is going inside the avatar’s body
-Top is going inside the skirt. (not balanced)

Pose works well with outfit.
- Jacket goes along with the dress
- Hair is laying over chest
-Jewelry not over hair or going inside the body— etc

PS- None of these poses are bad. The first one just is not made for the outfit. This post is only to give an idea on how sometimes selecting our poses for a photo can save us from spending time on photoshop to make it look good. I believe that for a SL photo we need to get a good canvas, good windlight, nice outfit and skin, good pose… etc. Hope this information was helpful since back in the day was very important to me.

. I dont believe in Fairytales I

The lazy Rabbit is home to show what’s in her closet. As soon as I saw this soon to be released dress by Glam Affair I thought: Tea, Alice, Cinderella, Fairytales and all those magic things. The necklace from Glow studio gives it a modern touch, the bow from Tokidoki complements the dress, the only shoe I have is from lassitude & ennui and the hair was done at the Vive9 Salon.If a Rock’n'Roll prince found  my shoes please leave a message on facebook.

Hey guys. hope you all are having a great weekend! This look was made with my latest fashion icon passion. Tavi Gevinson is a very young blogger, with this adorable face and grey bob with blue tips. I love how much she plays with fashion and her style kinda fits what I like to do in SL. So at the moment I wore the hair by Aurora with these amazing glasses from Alpha Villain I felt like Tavi’s twin. The skin is super cute and is a group gift by Atomic who has been sending some group gifts to their members lately, so if you have a free group slot this is a nice group to join. Necklace from Lagyo (which I’ve been loving for so long) teams up with the top from SMS, the belt from Nemesis and the skirt that happens to be part of a dress for the Fore group members.
